I had an excellent stay at Palm Springs Hotel, Dili, and I highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel provides outstanding service, and all rooms are very clean and well maintained. Guests have access to a gym and swimming pool from 6:00am onwards, which is very convenient for early risers. The food experience was impressive. The hotel serves a good variety of Western and Chinese cuisine, and the meals made me feel comfortable and at home. A special highlight is the rooftop restaurant and bar, Sail, where guests can relax, chill, and enjoy a wide selection of food and beverages in a great atmosphere. It is also worth noting that Thursday is Ladies’ Night, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience. The staff truly made the stay memorable. Ms. Lethcia at the front desk was extremely helpful and attentive, accommodating guest needs efficiently, including laundry arrangements. Duxburry was also very supportive, ensuring all guests were comfortable and well taken care of throughout their stay. The hotel frequently hosts delegates and business representatives, making it a very suitable choice for official visits, meetings, and professional stays. Overall, Palm Springs Hotel offers excellent service, comfort, and facilities, and is highly recommended for all types of visits.

Amazing diving, amazing staff, fantastic place to visit!! Transit: we opted for the private transfer on the way to Atauro Island and took the ferry back - suggest private transfer if the weather is a bit unpredictable. Diving: pristine reefs, 3-4 dives daily, quality gear and absolutely excellent, English-speaking PADI instructors (ask for Marisa!). Accommodation: the deluxe villa has AC, bug nets, a fridge, and a bathroom with proper plumbing and hot (warm) water showers. All meals are included with the accommodation and the food is delicious and plentiful. Fresh and drinkable water is always available and they also have beers, soft drinks and fresh coconuts available in the fridge. A gorgeous island paradise to spend some time underwater and/or lazing in one of the hammocks by the water - highly recommend. If you need any assistance, the staff are always there to help out. Will definitely be back!

I stayed here for over a month and enjoyed my stay. The staff members are amazing, and they take pride in their work. The room is spacious, secure, and clean. The grounds are well kept. The common areas are cleaned throughout the day. The staff is very accommodating and works to resolve any issues. The hotel is centrally located and I found it easy to walk to most places. There are many places to eat nearby and a pop-up BBQ each night on the beach, right across the street! The hotel complex has added security at night with a gate. There is always someone at the front desk to assist. Rooms have a safe, TV, refrigerator, hot water kettle, and wifi. A hair dryer is available upon request. They also have daily laundry service included, and this made things a lot easier for the duration of my stay. Breakfast is also included. It is directly across the street from the beach. You can get a beautiful view of the sunrise each morning to your right and the sunset each evening to your left.

I had the most wonderful stay at Barry’s place in December. Barry was incredibly helpful in the lead up to my stay, providing me with information about the ferries, assisting me to plan the length of my stay, and providing me with recommendations for Dili. The accomodation itself was beautiful and right on the beach, and a short walk from where the ferry gets in. Bathroom facilities are simple (no running water for showering) but very clean and practical. All three meals are included in the cost of your stay, which works very well with limited food options around. Barry was able to assist with booking snorkelling through local boats and transport on the island. The snorkelling in the reef outside of the accommodation was absolutely beautiful, the best snorkelling of my life! I loved my stay and will definitely return one day!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Timor in Dili, and what truly set it apart was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed, and throughout my stay, the team went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any request, whether it’s arranging transportation, recommending local spots, or simply greeting guests with a genuine smile. Their professionalism and kindness create a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The hotel itself is well-maintained, offering clean and comfortable rooms, a great restaurant with delicious food, and a convenient central location. Whether traveling for business or leisure, Hotel Timor is an excellent choice in Dili. I highly recommend it and will definitely return on my next visit!

What an amazing place to stay, right on the beach. Close proximity to supermarket, local cafes, short walk down the street. Anthony and Selina were extremely helpful and knowledgeable on things to do and see? Thank you both for sharing with us. As was all the staff who went out of their way to make our stay special x Our room was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Awesome gardens and pool, to chill and relax? Yoga sessions in the morning around the pool, depending on the weather. The views from the restaurant overlooking the foreshore were amazing. If you’re keen highly recommend the grilled fish in banana leaves, that was ssoooooo good. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a special place to stay this would be it…
